The style and design of the coats reflect the return to one’s youth in the sixties, mixing it with a bit of fun, ostentatiously showing off like a male bird of paradise. Both stoles are inspired on the 18 th and 19 th elegant little evening stoles to cover bare shoulders, but instead of silk, pearls, velvet the material is non-organic wool to cover cold shoulders in 21 st century wintertime. The technique used is all hand made by myself, knotting threads across the main stole structure. Which proved to be an invaluable stepping stone to the embroidery work.
